This is one of the Club's longstanding events. Eligible contestants include the current commodore and all past commodores. It is sailed in PHRF yachts as an "around the marks" white sail event, usually of about an hour's duration. This is truly a gentleman's challenge which affords past flag officers an opportunity for a genuinely friendly reunion and rivalry. In recent years it has been scheduled on the Saturday immediately preceding the Sailpast, the latter being held on a Sunday.
