Lake Saint Louis Race Week - BYC Regatta
Race week this year starts with the BYC Regatta, and ends with the PCYC regatta. Jin Frati has posted this note on the BYC Regatta, which has coincided with the 40th anniversary of the Club. Congratulations to BYC.
BYC ANNUAL
A beautiful sunny day. a postponement at the beginning of the day to allow the wind to settle from the west, 3 races back to back, made our RCO a star, very good job considering C.Olsen was at his first encounter with the duty of running an event.
Good participation from BYC and PCYC, especially in PHRF 3 with 11 Sharks on the line.
The wind had its capricious moments with wind shifts of 20 to 30 degrees, which made it possible for some boats to lose their lead and other to come from behind.
It was also the 40th anniversary of BYC, which made the evening party and prize giving ceremony a fantastic event.
