Open Water

Open Water.

It is only mid March, and we already have open water on the lakes. I imagine that this is both good and bad. The good is that we might get an early start on the season this year. The bad is the potential for low water later in the season. But that remains to be seen.

In the meantime, the weather is gorgeous and the ice is gone for the year.

The racing information is already posted for the year on this site, and you can now go to the racing information folder and plan your summer. This year we do not have a down loadable file, but the screen can be printed from most Browsers, and the Web is always available. So be sure to bookmark this site.

In addition to this, we also will have posted the winners of the Trophies for 2009 by the end of March. We will be adding more information on the winning teams and their boats as we have that available. So again, remember to bookmark the page. And next year, you might be there as well!

2009 had eight SLVYRA trophies awarded. This year we are adding four more. Details will be posted on the Trophy page soon.
