Turkey Bowl- This race is run annually from, and by, the Beaconsfield Yacht Club, where all the racers have the opportunity to win a Turkey for their Thanksgiving table. More than one Turkey will be looking for winners. See the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions for more details (links below)

A fun regatta that attracts participation from other clubs, the Turkey Bowl is held in September. An annual event for over 30 years, the handicapped white sail race takes place off BYC on one of three pre-designed courses as outlined in the racing instructions. Whether you place first or last, all participants receive a string of tickets. The tickets are then drawn out of a hat for five to eight turkeys awarded as prizes. The laid-back event finishes off with hot turkey sandwiches.
